Mykonos by Fleet Foxes Got this from Sub Pop a while back. Really dig this band. Listen to the whole song, has some smooth transitions.
Sub Pop has great free tunes here http://www.subpop.com/cybersex

Makes me want to play in a rockabilly punk band. Here’s a great video from a live Hot Pants session:

Edie Brickell and the new Bohemians - What I am (Cover). Always liked this song. Love the solo (although not in my version here), need the wah…love the wah.
Listening to Electric Ladyland on the train today and ended up going to wikipedia to check out some details on the album. While reading I came across this interesting fact about vinyl production
[As was common with some multi-LP albums, sides one and four were pressed back to back on the same platter, likewise sides two and three. This was called auto-coupling and was intended to allow discs to be stacked on an automatic record-changer. In this case it has led to some CD releases to have the tracks in the incorrect one-four-two-three order.(e.g. “Voodoo Chile” followed by “Still Raining, Still Dreaming”)]
I was also reminded why I wanted a copy of the original album cover
Dear Prudence is on of my fav Beatles songs. There was a good chance one of our daughters was going to end up a Prudence, but it’s still a tough name for kids these days. No good nick names.
Anyhow, I did this recording back in March/April and kind of forgot I did it. Thought I would share…enjoy!
Pretty intense new song and video by Modest Mouse. The video was actually directed by Heath Ledger prior to his death. MySpace has the exclusive music video here.
